Celtic have insisted that there has been no contact from Spurs for midfielder Scott Brown.

Spurs  boss Harry Redknapp was said to be in attendance at Celtic Park for Celtic’s Champions League Qualifier against Arsenal to cast an eye over the Scottish international.

“We have had no contact with Spurs at all,” Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell  told Sky Sports News.

“I didn’t know Harry was coming to the game. I hope he enjoys the game.”

  1. We don’t need him, especially if he comes at a price of losing JJ and Bently. Thanks but no thanks arry. COYS . P.s. Hull 0 Tottenham 1 – Pav to score.

  2. I watched the game last night and the only Celtic player that could fit into the Spurs set up was Aiden McGeady. Scott Brown was ok but certainly no better than what we already have, we don’t need him.

  3. Even McGeady is lightweight and inconsistent. Not fit to lace Lennon’s boots. Not a single Celtic player worthy of a Spurs shirt. Jog on.
