Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts following Jose Mourinho’s team selection against Southampton.
Spurs travel to the south coast seeking their first Premier League win of the season with a much improved performance required from the lethargic display which was witnessed against Everton at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium seven days ago.
Jose Mourinho’s side will be looking to put the memories of the New Year’s Day defeat at St Mary’s behind them in a match which saw Harry Kane and Moussa Sissoko both suffer long-term injuries.
Against no other current Premier League side are Spurs on a longer wait for a clean sheet than they are versus Southampton, failing to keep a shutout in any of their last nine meetings with Saints (also nine v Liverpool).
