Which Liverpool players have travelled to their Spanish training camp ahead of Champions League final

Tottenham Hotspur face Liverpool in the Champions League final in Madrid on June 1st in what is the biggest match in the club’s history.

Ahead of the fixture, Jurgen Klopp has taken his side to Spain for a warm weather training camp in Marbella.

Klopp has selected a 26-man squad (official Liverpool website) who jetted off yesterday afternoon from John Lennon airport and will spend the next five days preparing for the match that takes place at the Atletico Madrid’s Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.

Liverpool’s 26-man training camp squad: Alexander-Arnold, Alisson, Brewster, Fabinho, Firmino, Gomez, Henderson, Jones, Keita, Kelleher, Lallana, Lovren, Mane, Matip, Mignolet, Milner, Moreno, Origi, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Robertson, Salah, Shaqiri, Sturridge, Van Dijk, Wijnaldum, Woodburn.

Tottenham, on the other hand, are not preparing to travel abroad so soon, instead, they will continue their preparations at their Hotspur Way training base and will head out to Madrid on the Wednesday prior to the final to give them two days of full training before kick off.

While Liverpool are sunning it up in Marbella, Spurs will be in familar surroundings at their training base where Mauricio Pochettino will no doubt be working his players hard ahead of the European showpiece.

Pochettino has a reputation for preparing meticulously for every match and he will certainly look to do so in the biggest match of his career.
