“You still play for us Danny” – Some Spurs fans react to Rose mistake at Old Trafford

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans were quick to criticise left back Danny Rose after his loose back pass gave Romelu Lukaku the chance to give Manchester United the lead.

Rose, who was making his first start of the season played a blind pass back to goalkeeper Hugo Lloris which was interceped by Lukaku, who then rounded Lloris only to push the ball wide of the far post to save the England international’s blushes.

It would have been a gift of a goal to hand the home side the lead, I’m sure if that was up the other end of the pitch that Harry Kane would have had no problem in burying the opportunity.
