Gallery: The top five best Spurs kits from the 1990s

Retro football kits are always top sellers. Fans always love reflecting upon the good old days of their football club and relive these memories by purchasing a retro kit that mimics the original kit.

One of the great things about Tottenham Hotspur is the shirt design. The club have produced some magnificent kits over the years – so in this list, we reflect on the top five home kits that Spurs wore during the 1990s.

We have had some wonderful players who have graced the Lane over the decade in question who have donned our beloved colours.

Here’s our five favourite kits.

Arguably, this kit is one of Tottenham’s greatest of all time. The fact that the Club achieved FA Cup glory is part of the reason why it will go down as one of the best.

It was a step-up from the previous kit that accompanied the club throughout the previous stages in the competition. Maybe it was a little unfair throwing the 1989-91 kit away right before the final, but its replacement was much better.

It was the first kit to be produced by Umbro since 1977 – what a return to the club it was.

Beneath the lilywhite base, a zigzag pattern was embedded into the kit that subtly spelt ‘THFC’. It was certainly a unique touch that oozed class. The THFC branding was also evident on the collar.
