Premier League Run In Update

Each of the top four have struggled this week. Arsenal had the worst loss so let’s reassess the top of the table.

The Arse I predicted would drop a minimum of 9 points a week ago – they have already dropped 6 ! Their trip to WHL could be the end of their season. The Arse have only gotten one draw in their last 4 games – three at home ! Cech and Koscielny are injured. There can be no better time for Spurs to beat them and put them 6 points behind us. The arse will, therafter, be away at Everton, West Ham, Sunderland and City. There are not many points to be had there. The Everton away game will be after their trip to Barcelona so watch them drop points at Goodison. They might get 8 points out of the 15 available away. If they don’t beat us at the Lane I do not fancy their chances of overtaking us let alone Leicester. I see them dropping at least 4 more points at home. Watch out for those two tricky home London derbies with Watford and Palace.

Arse dropping 12 more points with losses at Spurs & City, draws with West Ham, Watford, Everton

Man City were terrible at Liverpool. They are clearly focusing on Chapions League and happy with qualification for next season CL. They also play Manure, Chelski and WBA after hard Champions League games. They have 6 away games with 2 tricky away games at Chelsea and Southampton and two hard games at home with United and the Arse. You can see them dropping 7 points away (losing to Chelsea and two draws with Soton and one other). At home they will struggle with Manure and the Arse (win one lose one) I also fancy WBA or Stoke to get a draw especially if they stay in the Champions League.

Spurs could not find any rhythm against West Ham and in truth Harry is struggling. However, we are playing the Arse at the perfect time. Dortmund is a fantastic game but an unwelcome distraction. Luckily we are playing Villa and Bournemouth after our European jaunts. I still think Chelsea will beat us and WBA and United will stifle us at the Lane. Liverpool & United are gaining in confidence – confidence that one will lose over the two legged clash in the Europa League.

Leicester City. Wow they have wobbled too !! They were lucky against Norwich and another lucky goal against WBA. Their home fixtures don’t look so easy anymore ! Apart from Newcastle. Away from home they will struggle against Watford and who knows what Sunderland will produce. I see them also losing at Chelski and United. They could drop 6 points at home as the nerves set in and 7 points away.

home : Newcastle, Soton, West Ham, Swansea, Everton
away : Watford, Palace, Sunderland, Man United, Chelsea

Who can keep their nerve ? Leicester have one loss, one draw and one win in their last three EPL games. Leicester have no distractions but Man City are focussed on Champions League and the Arse on the FA Cup. Spurs have Borrusia Dortmund that is not a good distraction either. The Arse have one win (against Leicester) and two losses, Spurs two wins and one loss and City amazingly have lost each of their last 3 EPL games !! Spurs are the form team a win on Saturday goes a long way…..
