A common trend for players on this list is their involvement in Leeds’ youth academy. Jack Clarke is no different.

The 18-year-old joined the Leeds United youth academy in 2017 before signing a professional contract in November that would see him become involved with the first team.

The 2018/19 season saw Clarke make his senior debut in a professional competition. Throughout his time at Leeds, Clarke has made 22 appearances and scored two goals.

Clarke had been linked with a transfer elsewhere for quite some time, however, in June 2019, Leeds and Tottenham Hotspur reportedly agreed a fee of £8.5m with add-ons (TThe Sun).
