Gallery: Which Spurs players were spotted training ahead of AC Milan

The Tottenham players were back on the training pitch at Hotspur Way earlier this morning as part of their preparations for their Champions League round of sixteen first leg clash against AC Milan tomorrow night.

Tottenham will jet off to Milan later today on the back of Saturday’s disastrous 4-1 Premier League defeat at the hands of Leicester City which saw them pass up the opportunity to close the gap on fourth-placed Newcastle United.

It has been a tough week for the north Londoners having been on a high after the win over Manchester City only to suffer something of an injury crisis with Hugo Lloris, Yves Bissouma, Ryan Sessegnon and Rodrigo Bentancur all expected to spend lengthy spells on the sidelines.

Milan ended a run of seven games without a win by narrowly beating Torino on the weekend and now face a Spurs side who like themselves, struggle to find consistency with their performances.

Among the players spotted being put through their paces at the club’s training ground were:

Goalkeepers

Fraser Forster, Brandon Austin, Alfie Whiteman

Defenders

Ben Davies, Eric Dier, Emerson Royal, Davinson Sanchez

Midfielders

Oliver Skipp, Pape Matar Sarr, Arnaut Danjuma, Matthew Craig, Dejan Kulusevski

Strikers
