A contender for Man of the Match despite only playing 20-odd minutes. Once again Erik came on and flipped the game on its head at a time when Spurs were struggling.

Lamela notched up his second goal in as many Prem games, and showed why many believe he should be starting more games.

Tottenham finally put an end to their losing streak this evening, putting two goals past Brighton on their way to the three points.

The 2-1 victory was much needed for Spurs after losses to Watford, Liverpool and Inter Milan.
