King: We have to pick ourselves up

Ledley King wants Tottenham to bounce back from their disappointing defeat to Arsenal by picking up all three points against Sunderland.

The Black Cats visit White Hart Lane on Saturday and are without three of their key players in Kenwyne Jones, Lorik Cana and Lee Cattermole.

King will be looking to turn in a better performance after his poor display at the Emirates.

“We don’t want to lose to Arsenal, full stop - and we never want to lose 3-0 to anyone,” King told Tottenham’s official website.

“We know how much this game means. We’re all disappointed. We have to pick ourselves up.

“It’s one game and I’m sure this will hurt for a few days yet but once that’s over we have to focus on the next match and try to get back to winning ways against Sunderland.”
