Tottenham Hotspur News - Hutton could be used as bait for Upson

Spurs are once again being linked with a move for West Ham defender, Matthew Upson.
With Ledley King a perennial doubt, Redknapp could move for the England centre-back, with Alan Hutton moving the other way in a deal worth £10million.
West Ham have been suffering financial difficulties for some time and Upson is likely to be the most in demand member of their squad, after his performances have seen him become third choice for Fabio Capello in the centre of his England defence.
Upson has been linked with a move to Spurs for a long time, but with doubts over King’s future in the game persisting, Redknapp may make his move in January.
The People also suggests that Alan Hutton could be used as a potential makeweight in the deal.
Hutton is struggling for first team action this year, with Vedran Corluka the established first choice right back and Kyle Naughton impressing at the club after his summer switch from Sheffield United.
Hutton would be keen to leave in order to get is career back on track and a move to West Ham would prevent him from having to move house.
