Agent denies striker speculation

Roman Pavlyuchenko’s agent has claimed that there has been no contact from Roma.

The Russian international has been linked with a summer transfer away from Tottenham Hotspur, but his agent Viktor Kolar insists the striker is focusing on the job in hand at White Hart Lane.

“I don’t know anything,” he told ForzaRoma.info. “By reading the papers I learnt that the club would make a move for the player, but with regards to myself no-one has made me aware of anything.

“There’s nothing concrete because there have been no offers made either to the club or to the player.

“I don’t have any idea how they can write that Roman will be at Roma.

“I spoke to the management and I know that next year he will be part of a serious project.

“He still has many years on his contract and he intends to prove also in England how much he is worth.”

    Personally i would like to see Roman have another season in the prem because he is highly rated by many in the game including the likes of Guus Hiddink. He must now know that he has to improve dramatically if he wants to be a success for Spurs. If he is to move on however i think we should have a replacement ready and not suffer as we did last season

    Roman is a excellent striker. We must not forget he had an extended season last year playing in the Russian and English leagues as well the Euro’s. I think now rested he has got at least 20 goals in him.

    let him stay. let him have another go next season. he should be settled by then. his work rate is good. willing to fight for the first eleven. why not. could be our hidden ace next season.

    Can’t wait to see Spurs in a few weeks time in China. We like Roman & think he’ll give us 15+ goals next season plus the same from Defoe.

    disagree.. Although maybe tired legs last season i didn’t think he showed enough quality to lead our line in attack, tho if he stays i hope he proves me wrong. Love to see the hunt at the lane tho anyday!
