Bernard’s agent has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are the only “contenders” for the Atletico Mineiro star.
The 20-year-old is linked with a move to White Hart Lane on a daily basis, while the media have also credited Borussia Dortmund and Porto with interest in the Brazilian international.
Bernard’s agent Hissa Moyses told O Jogo: “Dortmund have not submitted a proposal and Tottenham are the only contenders.”
The player has scored 17 goals in 84 appearances for Atletico Mineiro and is one of a trio of Brazilians who are on AVB’s summer shopping list. Leandro Damiao and Paulinho being the other two.
According to the Mirror, Spurs sent representatives to watch Brazil take on Japan in the Confederations Cup only for Bernard to be an unused subsitute.
