Blades pair join Tottenham

Sheffield United have confirmed that Tottenham Hotspur have completed a deal for Kyle Naughton and Kyle Walker.
Everton were hoping to tie up a deal for 20-year-old Naughton, who caught the eye playing for the Blades at full-back.
Walker, 19, who operates as a central defender or right back, has made just two senior appearances for the Championship club and has represented England at Under-19 level.
It is thought that Walker will go back to Sheffield United on a season-long loan, while Naughton will push for a place in Redknapp’s side.
We’ll bring you more on this news as we get it.

[/sarcasm] Don’t really get these transfers. I imagine they will be off to Peterborough for £500k a piece within 2 years if our past record is anything to go by.
On a positive note i hope Naughton is the new Glen Johnson. I suspect Walker is there to hold his hand.
Kyle Walker best position is Right Back or Centre Half, i could also see him developing into a defensive midfield player, in the mould of a Makalele. He has the speed of a top winger and the strength of a top centre half.He needs more first team experience to make him ‘Streetwise’ but he has all of the right attributes to become a top player. I’m just glad we will get one more season out of him at the Blades. If you need evidence of the potential of both Naughton and Walker. Take a look at this years Championship play off.
