Blades shocked by Tottenham recall request

Sheffield United manager Kevin Blackwell admits that he was surprised when Tottenham Hotspur recalled Kyle Walker.

Harry Redknapp recalled the 19-year-old from his loan spell at Bramall Lane just moments before the transfer window closed after he had earlier loaned out Alan Hutton and Kyle Naughton.

“It was a late decision,” Blackwell said.

“The paperwork came in 10 minutes before the 5pm deadline.

“Tottenham were within their rights to recall him so I’ve got no complaints.

“It was a complete surprise – but then football is full of surprises.”

If he is going to get some playing time then its great because he is exciting and also has a long throw that could cause some defenses trouble.lets hope he is not going to be another Naughton and sit around learning nothing .
