“The 29-year-old striker fulfils a dream in signing for his boyhood heroes and becomes the EIGHTH signing the club has made in the January transfer window.
“Keane flew to Glasgow tonight (Monday) to complete the whirlwind signing and Celtic’s bold move has grabbed headlines throughout the football world.”

Im annoyed with spurs not signing another couple of players.
We may have a big pool of players but many are not up to top four quality which is why we will finish in 7th place.
The board and manager have shown know desire to get into a major europeon competition.
They have failed all us supporters who follow our disappointing displays week after week.
Signing a 31 year old has been and another player who was no good last time he was here is really unbelievable.
We had a great opportunity to go for fourth place by strengthening our midfield and have FAILED. If i see Jenas in our first eleven again this season i will retire from following my life long team.
I don’t think the transfer window has been a disaster, definite question marks over the lack of cover for Palacios, the RB & the GK, but we did at least try to address two of those issues.
But Keane’s departure should make way for Pav, with Gudjohnsen representing an experienced backup. Very pleased to see Bentley stay as I really feel that he is turning the corner.
As for Kaboul, how many alleged fans go on about the likes of Gio and Pav ‘who never got a chance’. Well Younes, definitely got his chance too early, failed and got sold. From what I have seen he has been one of Pompey’s best players and I think he’s ready now. Probably not the finished article, but I’d put him in the same bracket as Dawson.
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, judge us on our points total, not our position. Harry is on course to equal or better Martin Jol, so give him his dues. I’d love to see MJ return, but only once HR has had a fair crack (i.e. at least 3-4 years in charge).
Guys, GROW UP.
