Press reports are linking Tottenham defender Pascal Chimbonda with a move to Portsmouth.

Chimbonda returned to Spurs in January from Sunderland but has failed to hold down a regular first-team place due to the impressive form of Benoit Assou-Ekotto.

The French international is valued at around £2.5million and is thought to be open to the idea of regular football at Pompey.
