Dawson supports postponement but left frustrated

Michael Dawson admits he is frustrated that Tottenham’s opening day clash with Everton at White Hart Lane on Saturday has been postponed but admits that public safety much come first.
The Premier League announced the decision just before lunchtime after holding talks with the police.
“It is frustrating as we worked for six weeks trying to get fit and unfortunately the first day of the season isn’t going to be happening for us,” said Dawson.
“But the most important thing is the safety of all the people involved, the police won’t have called it off too lightly.”
