Tottenham forward Giovani Dos Santos is being lined up by Deportivo La Coruna as a replacement for Angel Lafita.
Despite impressing on international duty with Mexico in the CONCACAF Gold Cup, where he was named as player of the tournament in the summer, he has failed to hold down a regular first-team place under Harry Redknapp at White Hart Lane.
Deportivo are on the look out for a new addition to their midfield, with Lafita’s impending move to Real Zaragoza, which has been held-up due to disputes in Spain.
Dos Santos is expected to be named in the Tottenham side which faces Preston in the Carling Cup tomorrow night.
