Brazilian star Kaka has stressed the importance of the match between Manchester City and Tottenham this evening.

Kaka shunned a move to City 18 months ago, before joining Real Madrid this summer.

“The match between City and Spurs is so much more important than three points,” he told the Daily Express.

“If City win it they can start their journey to becoming a super club.

“I have said that you couldn’t buy history but if City start qualifying for the Champions League, they can start creating their own history. And with the resources they have, they can create a super team very quickly.

“In World Cup year players’ price-tags will always go rapidly up if they have a good tournament and City will probably be one of only a few teams in the world who will be able to afford the crazy prices.

“If they beat Tottenham and ultimately get Champions League football then we can expect some of the world’s best to move to them in the summer.”

    This game is taken over the election and is all people are talking about we have the Liverpool fans Utd fans on our side . My Team is less than 20 miles from me where i live in Widnes and my heart is racing with Excitement and nerves we are 95 mins from creating History or creating a monster football Team . One that will cause more damage than the gulf oil leak, I would love my Beloved Team to win or draw tonight but to do so would send us to a posh school we are not ready for . On the field we are not far away and with less devastating injuries we would be already there but we are years behind of the field . With our new Complex and our new ground in the planning stage we have the Blue print to succeed but can any one of my fans really hand on heart say a ground holding just of 36,000 is good enough to make us enough money to compete with the Utds and Madrid of this world . The simple answer is no and my beloved fans would be sat at home watching because the entrance fee would nearly double to compensate not having 50 thousand . I believe the powers that run the Premier brand wont let this happen and there will be a sting in the tale like what happened at Wembley . This just shows you how much this game is splitting the nation down the middle and sending ordinary fans Mental this is just a daft way of calming my nerves and is fictional .     I wouldnt mind Kaka at spurs… Spurs won all their games last year against city and we beat them 3-0 this year… im expecting a 3-1 or 2-1 win. We will win this game. We really deserve this win, after all we need to make a point that champions league spot can not be bought. COYS!
