Former Spur links up with Martin Jol at Ajax

Former Tottenham Hotspur player Mounir El Hamdaoui has joined Ajax.
The Moroccan international joined Spurs on a three-and-a-half year deal in January 2005, but failed to make one Premier League appearance. It was Martin Jol who brought him to the Lane, and links up with the player once again.
El Hamdaoui is relishing the prospect of linking up with Luis Suarez – who has been linked with a move to Spurs.
“Yes, the Ajax shirt feels good,” El Hamdaoui told the Ajax’s official website.
“I am pleased that the negotiations are behind us. Everyone knows that Ajax is a big club.
“I look forward to working with Luis Suarez and playing together. I like to play with good players.
“With Martin Jol, I have always had a good relationship.”
