King suffers injury blow

Ledley King has suffered an injury blow after he was forced off during Tottenham’s 3-0 win at Wigan.

The Spurs captain pulled up after 50 minutes with a problem in his upper leg and will now undergo a scan on the injury.

“Ledley looks like he’s torn a muscle,” said Spurs boss Harry Redknapp.

    Kaboul should replace ledly at 6ft4 and 13 half stone he is a big lad to have along side 6ft3 Dawson who only light we will need him against stoke .

    A great and a significant victory for Spurs today. I am glad Harry has finally listened to the fans in getting Pav to play. What a great difference he made to the game when he came in combining very well with Modric and scoring two superb goals. He is a cool clever striker always placing his shots well unlike Defoe, good as he is, who tends to shoot directly at the goalkeeper too often for my liking.. I have been saying it all along that Pav is too good a player to be kept on the bench most of the time. I would like to see him play regularly especially that I consider him a better player than Crouch who should have added to the score today if only he hasd thought of chipping the ball over with only Kirkland to beat.

    Which dumb a** decided to play Ledley yesterday? The pitch conditions were horrible and he was bound to pick up an injury with his knee condition.

    have to agree with Malaysia again! gulp! didnt take an einstein to work out that the pitch yesterday looked liek a nightmare for a fully fit player! risking our “once a month” captain on it against a weak team was pretty pointless, hey ho, im sure it wont be the last mistake Harry makes this month….

    maybe your looking @ things the wrong way,as john adam says great victory..i think we needed that and now need to look at one game at a time.too many people are complaining of how we win..it dont matter as long as we win .. get behind the team and push for 4th
