BBC football pundit Mark Lawrenson has predicted that Tottenham Hotspur will beat Hull City on Saturday.

He told BBC Sport Online: “You always fancy Tottenham at home. They have also been away for a bit of a winter break in the sun, which might give them a lift. I’m not sure if Aaron Lennon will be fit, but Spurs have a lot of attacking talent to choose from and you never fancy Hull on the road.

“Tottenham will create a lot of chances in this game and I don’t see Hull being able to hold out.

“Verdict: 2-0.”
