Monaco have revealed that Eidur Gudjohnsen is set for a move to England.
The Icelandic striker spent the second half of last season on loan at Tottenham Hotspur, with many expecting him to return to the Lane on a permanent basis. Fulham have also been linked with the player, but this was while Roy Hodgson was still in charge at Craven Cottage.
“Gud is interested in England, and England is interested in Gud, so we should find a way out for him,” Monaco boss Guy Lacombe told Nice-Matin.
