Tottenham Hotspur striker Roman Pavlyuchenko is out of Russia’s upcoming Euro 2012 qualifiers.

Pav picked up an ankle injury in the 2-1 win against Aston Villa on Saturday and had to be replaced at half-time.  Russia boss Dick Advocaat has confirmed the 28-year-old won’t face the Republic of Ireland and Macedonia.

The Russia boss said: “We made a decision that Pavlyuchenko will not travel with the squad to Dublin and Skopje.”
