Kyle Walker has stated his intention of playing his football for Tottenham.
The full-back impressed during loan spells at QPR and Aston Villa last season but is now ready to force his way into Harry Redknapp’s Spurs side.
Walker will be battling Vedran Corluka for the right-back berth at Spurs, while Alan Hutton is being tipped to join Villa.
“I’ve come here to play now,” he told Hotspur magazine.
“I have tasted Premier League football and that is what I want to do, I want to play football for Tottenham.
“I have signed a new contract and if I didn’t want to stay here I wouldn’t have signed it.
“I just want to play football and I want to play for Tottenham.”
