Robbie Keane - Tottenham Hotspur News

QPR boss Neil Warnock plans to make Tottenham striker Robbie Keane, 31, his last signing of the summer.

The Republic of Ireland international is out of favour at White Hart Lane and is expected to leave Spurs in the upcoming weeks.

QPR are keen to bring in an experienced striker for their return to the Premier League but do not have the funds to make a permanent signing.

Warnock said: “They’ve made it clear to me we’ve got to try and get value for money and not to spend transfer fees.

“Look at the players I’ve brought in, Kieron Dyer and Jay Bothroyd. It’s not all doom and gloom.”

Former club Wolves are also interested in Keane but the player wants to remain in London.

    No chance on a loan.

Sell him and get him off our books to reinvest the cash.

We cannot afford to hang onto him. Impacting negatively on our salary budget. Sell him cheaply.

No way loan him out again.
We have to raise cash to invest in new players
He has to be sold and QPR can certainly afford him!
