Redknapp hopeful over Woodgate

Tottenham Hotspur are hoping that Jonathan Woodgate will not need another operation on his troublesome groin problem.
The central defender has yet to play for Harry Redknapp’s side this season and suffered an injury setback last week when the injury was causing him discomfort when he tried to train.
Woodgate has since had an injection, which has given hope that he won’t need to go under the knife again.
“He had the injection and feels a lot easier. We hope that does the trick rather than operating again,” Redknapp said.
