Roman Pavlyuchenko admits that he is happy at Tottenham but there has been no developments on his contract talks.

The Russian striker was hoping to begin talks over a new deal when the Spurs squad returned from South Africa, but there are yet to happen.

Pavlyuchenko said: “There is no news about my contract yet, so all we can to do is to wait and see.

“I feel very much adapted and comfortable at Tottenham but in football circumstances can change very quickly.

“Obviously, someone is going to be either sold or sent on loan.”

    Pav has cried and whinged for most of the three seasons at WHL. He’s an opportunist. He loves Spurs when theres no other club weighing up a bid for him and ‘its not fair the way Harry treats him’ if he gets wind of a chance to get away and make some extra dosh. He’s a mercenary and, personally, I wouldn’t loose any sleep if he slung his hook tomorrow.
