Press reports are suggesting that Harry Redknapp is targeting Sunderland defender Anton Ferdinand.

Following a number of injuries to his key central defenders, it is being suggested that the Spurs boss will move for the England Under-21 international in January.

Ferdinand was the subject of interest from Tottenham on the final day of the summer transfer window in a possible swap deal for Alan Hutton, but a move never materialised for the former West Ham stopper.

Please do something with Hutton, swap him with anyone…I have seen every game that he plays he is too slow, drifts often out of position and is a poor tackler…the only thing he has to crow about his game is his heading/winning the ball in the air…

Anton is a waste of time and money. Sigh, we did we let the likes of Gardner and Davenport go! This is what happens when we don’t give enough chances to our youngsters! Hutton is a hopeless denfender. Everytime he plays, we are sure to concede goals!
