Tottenham are going up against Newcastle in a bid to sign Blackburn’s versatile forward Junior Hoilett.

The 21-year-old is in the last year of his contract at Rovers and according to the Metro, Spurs are monitoring the situation.

Hoilett can also operate on either wing and has been tipped for a big future in the game.

    I have liked this guy for some time, and I thought that we should have bought him by now. Pace & skill & young + goals, assists…for Blackburn… He will only get better. Competition/cover for Bale/Lennon/Vdv. Plus if Bale DOES get sold, then we have a guy ready to pick up from Bale as he was one year ago. out of contract means cheaper deal.

    Hmm would be a good addition and could be a big player in the future. Bit like dos santos but more ‘premiership’

    Sounds great, young and versatile perfect for a future squad. Is he a serious striker too or more front utility player(he could be a good replacement for Dos Santos if he wants away again, and if he is on a free Levy could make another profit) because we need at least two as Ade is only with us for this season.
