Tottenham are set to add to Aston Villa manager Martin O’Neill’s woes by attempting to lure winger Ashley Young to White Hart Lane.
According to the Daily Mirror, Spurs are preparing a move for the winger as he looks to strengthen his squad for their Champions League campaign.
Spurs were interested in the 25-year-old while he was still at Watford and are now ready to try to lure him to the Lane.

with corluka who else is there i would buy richards whos young and can play along the back 4, and also fabiano we need a out and out scorer sorry raul wont cut it to old he would be good as back up but how much would he want, young would be good he would had comp in midfield especially wen we will be in the champions league we need the strength to rotate good players in the middle of the park
After watching the game against the Red Bulls, Bale MUST stay at left midfield. We do not need another right back, as one of the twi Kyles should be good enough to step up.
The real sticky point is up front, where as every one knows, we desperately need an out and out goalscorer to take the heat off Defoe.
That and another centre half, to 'replace' Woody, if he fails to get over the injury.
Although a lot of fans dont rate him, I think BAE is an adequate left back and does a soild, although sometimes rash, job.
Same thing used to happen with Downing. Does not matter who the manager is or whether they are needed the story appears.
Spurs have the two best wide players around in Lennon and Bale and Harry knows we need better strikers not more wingers so this story is a complete and 100% non starter.
