Spurs were interested in the 25-year-old while he was still at Watford and are now ready to try to lure him to the Lane.

yes i think he would be good i would push bale back sale jenas, keane, and also buy a right back we need one
with corluka who else is there i would buy richards whos young and can play along the back 4, and also fabiano we need a out and out scorer sorry raul wont cut it to old he would be good as back up but how much would he want, young would be good he would had comp in midfield especially wen we will be in the champions league we need the strength to rotate good players in the middle of the park

young at Lm with bale Lb, nice. Give them Keane and Jenas. now we just need Richards for Rb behind Lennon.

what is all this we need richards at right back???? lennon plays very well at RM with corluka as corluka is more defensive minded, he holds back so lennon can do the wing work, a great understanding and a great partnership so why the hell take it apart??????

Although I rate Young highly. We dont really need him at present.
After watching the game against the Red Bulls, Bale MUST stay at left midfield. We do not need another right back, as one of the twi Kyles should be good enough to step up.
The real sticky point is up front, where as every one knows, we desperately need an out and out goalscorer to take the heat off Defoe.
That and another centre half, to 'replace' Woody, if he fails to get over the injury.
Although a lot of fans dont rate him, I think BAE is an adequate left back and does a soild, although sometimes rash, job.

Another RB no offence but your a genius mate, we have a shortage of rightbacks with Corluka, Kaboul, Hutton, Naughton, Walker, all at RB, oh thats right……and spursman has a great point Corluka Lennon partnership works great, if we need more attacking threat, Kaboul filled in very well towards the end of the season.
  8. zab says:
and kaboul, walker, naughton can all play rb too…
  9. Marc says:
Every transfers window Spurs are linked with Ashley Young. It's just media speculation.
  10. CC says:
Like Marc said Spurs get linked with Young every window.

Same thing used to happen with Downing. Does not matter who the manager is or whether they are needed the story appears.

Spurs have the two best wide players around in Lennon and Bale and Harry knows we need better strikers not more wingers so this story is a complete and 100% non starter.

  11. Matt says:
Why do we need another RB when Corluka is good enough and suits Lennon, Lennon likes an RB like Charlie who is more defensive just look at the difference with Lennon with Charlie compared too him with Hutton and Chimbonda he knows he has someone behind him so he can just go forward
