Spurs recall defender from loan deal

Tottenham Hotspur have recalled Kyle Walker from his loan spell at Sheffield United.

The right-back has returned to White Hart Lane to provide cover for Vedran Corluka after Harry Redknapp loaned out Alan Hutton and Kyle Naughton to Sunderland and Middlesbrough, respectively.

Sheffield United were keen to hold onto Walker, who has impressed this season for the Blades.

corluka has been struggling lately and naughton may get his chance very soon.

Tony – surely its the kyle of the walker variety that will get a chance if he is the one who has been recalled. Messr Naughton has only just left on loan to Boro.
