Spurs sweat over Dawson injury scare

Tottenham Hotspur are sweating on the fitness of Michael Dawson after he was injured in England’s 4-0 win against Bulgaria.

The Spurs defender was in visible pain after he went over awkwardly on his knee. Dawson is never one to complain, so the fact that he was screaming in agony is a massive worry for us.

Dawson was stretchered off at Wembley and had to be replaced by debutant Gary Cahill. One shred of good news is that Jermain Defoe bagged a hat-trick.

England’s coaching staff were unable to give an indication at this time about the extent of Dawson’s injury.

    I'm praying he's not seriously injured. You wont meet a nicer guy in football, met him a few years back, with a few other players, who were less willing to talk etc. (Met Gareth Bale out in Cardiff recently, he was a dick) But more importantly, he is a class player, and also 150% committed to Spurs.     Horrible. If it's ligament damage, (which looks likely) he will be out for at least a year. Lucky we got Gallas. Can you imagine Bassong and Kaboul at CB when King isn't fit?

    i pray he makes a speedy recovery its such a shame as he is in the form of his life. With important games coming thick and fast this unfortunately is a big set back for him and Spurs. We seem to have bad luck with Centre halves when it comes to injuries.

    As for those Gooner C***s we see you on the 21st Sept and sort you out all over the gaffe.
