Harry Redknapp - Tottenham Hotspur News

West Ham United have confirmed that they are in talks with Tottenham Hotspur over the sale of Scott Parker.

QPR have already had a bid of £4million rejected for the England midfielder but there are rumours that a cash-plus-player deal could be on the cards.

Redknapp is a massive fan of Parker and has been trying for some time to bring him to the Lane.

It looks as if it will be a busy time at Spurs before the transfer window slams shut next Wednesday.

Please no!!! Are we building a geriatric team? Maybe he can push Joe Cole around to ick up their pensions.
after all the good news re Modric—ughh!!!!!!

Hell yes be a great signing, he has shown with a awful team he can play stick him in our midfield with sandro out bed hudd looking 48% at best his a ect replacement plus the look on the west spam faces would be priceless. Also a big NO to joe cole.
  3. Sam says:
A definite YES to Scott Parker! A real engine in midfield; his tackling, workrate, attitude and experience are exactly what we need.

He may be good, but bringing him in would only push our younger players further down the pecking order. Unless Harry sticks to his words and puts a second team for the Europa League. This move will also encourage Harry to play with a lone striker. Somehow that doesn't seem to work very well especially when you have Bale to put in crosses. We need 2 upfront to be more effective.

    parker yes …cole no

Would be a fantastic signing at just the right time. Livermore is not up to premier league standard. Jamie O’Hara is better than Livermore.

Huddlestone is unfit. Modric has his mind elsewhere. Sandro is out for at least two months. Tom Carroll looks like he could be a great in the future. Palacios and Jenas will hopefully be sold. That only leaves Krancjar as the only top midfielder that Spurs have available.

I hope Parker is signed in time to partner Krancjar in midfield against City.

Anyone else welcome a swap with jenas for parker that would make us alot stronger considering we still have to get sandro and hudd back to full fitness plus mod back in the team our cm would be modric, sandro, hudd, parker, livermore, palacios, carroll(dont worry i have'nt forgot about niko although i dont see him as a cm we need him further up pitch arriving late smashing volley's in like he did against sunderlaand last season)plus vdv can go there.Once everbody is fit plus parker we have alot of quality cm with alot of different attributes suited for different occasions and styles of play, lets face it we gave united a good game for an hour without our 1st choice cm modric and sandro when we get back to full strength there plus the quality on the bench we will give it a damn good go this year mark my words

definitely jenas for parker. pls try Bentley as well. If not, pls offer them to QPR. Pienaar, Bassong and Crouch/Pav as well if possible
  8. Aberdeen andy says:
Parker definitely has that ‘attitude’ and work ethic we need.
    • Alonso says:
a big YES to Parker in lillywhite. One more striker and a solid central Back (Cahill) and we are back in the hunt for a Cl spot. Diarra will rue the missed opportunity if he does not come
  9. big g says:

Sandro, Huddlestone, and even Jenas who won't leave. Livermore too. Why do we need Parker again?
