According to DAZN journalist Orazio Accomando, Tottenham Hotspur are ready to increase their offer to sign Torino centre-back Perr Shuurs.
Schuurs enjoyed an impressive debut season in the Serie A following his €13m (£11.5m) switch from Ajax last summer and the centre-back has seemingly won several admirers with his displays.
Tottenham’s interest in the 23-year-old came to light back in February when TuttoSport (14/2/23 via Sport Witness ) claimed that the Lilywhites were keeping a close eye on the defender.
It was suggested at the time that Torino were hoping to cash in on the centre-back for around €50m (£44.4m).

Accomondo has now indicated that while Crystal Palace were in talks with the Italian club over Schurrs, Tottenham have now ‘come forward again’ for the centre-back.
The journalist states that the North London club are ‘willing to raise their offer’ both to Torino and to the player’s entourage.
However, as things stand the centre-back has not asked for a transfer and plans on starting the new season in Turin.

Spurs Web Opinion
There has been no indication by any reliable source over the last couple of months that Shuurs is one of Tottenham’s top centre-back targets.
The North London club appear to be focused on moves for the likes of Edmond Tapsoba, Micky van de Ven and Tosin Adarabioyo at the moment.
