Portugal Star snubs Arsenal for Spurs move

Portugal international Andre Gomes will reportedly strike a blow to Arsenal’s hopes of luring him to London – by signing for Tottenham.

The 24-year-old Barcelona midfielder is set to exit the Nou Camp this summer after failing to hold down a place in the first team since his move from Valencia two years ago.

And now according to Barcelona-based newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Gomes is keen on a move to Tottenham.

Italian champions Juventus were also reportedly to been interested however they may be reluctant to spend more money following the £100million they’ve spent luring Gomes’ Portugal team-mate Crisitiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid

Gomes is expected to cost around £18m and is reportedly keen to work with Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.
