Football is finally back. It seems like an age since Spurs played their final game of last season in the Champions League final against Liverpool. But football is back underway in the form of the International Champions Cup.

Tottenham began their 2019/20 campaign with a victory over Juventus in an entertaining contest last Sunday night. The match was played in a relatively high tempo considering it was only a friendly.

Juventus lined up with a very strong team from the outset. It included likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Leonardo Bonucci, and Miralem Pjanic to name a few. Tottenham on the other hand fielded a very youthful starting eleven that featured highly-rated 17-year-old Troy Parrott up front as striker along with Anthony Georgiou, Oliver Skipp, and more.

Out of all the youngsters that played on Sunday evening, we list five (unranked) that impressed.

Certainly one to keep an eye on in the future, Oliver Skipp had another respectable performance.

Skipp played for the majority of the match before coming off the pitch with a suspected injury. Prior to his departure, Skipp was able to control central midfield, allowing Spurs to dominate possession. Juventus manager and former Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri was unable to play his favoured possession-based style thanks to strong efforts from the likes of Skipp and Harry Winks.
