Football is finally back. It seems like an age since Spurs played their final game of last season in the Champions League final against Liverpool. But football is back underway in the form of the International Champions Cup.

Tottenham began their 2019/20 campaign with a victory over Juventus in an entertaining contest last Sunday night. The match was played in a relatively high tempo considering it was only a friendly.

Juventus lined up with a very strong team from the outset. It included likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Leonardo Bonucci, and Miralem Pjanic to name a few. Tottenham on the other hand fielded a very youthful starting eleven that featured highly-rated 17-year-old Troy Parrott up front as striker along with Anthony Georgiou, Oliver Skipp, and more.

Walker-Peters has appeared a number of times in the past, so settling in to the match was no issue for the 22-year-old. He brought an injection of pace into the game, running up and down the flanks providing both attacking and defensive prowess.

His highlight of the game was making a last-ditch challenge on Cristiano Ronaldo, denying the Portuguese superstar a clear chance on goal. He seemed confident with every possession he made and wasn't afraid to take the opposition on.
