Predicted Tottenham XI to take on Arsenal in the North London Derby

Ange Postecoglou’s Lilywhites welcome Arsenal to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this weekend for the most important North London Derby in recent memory.

If Spurs manage to beat their bitter rivals, they could end the Gunners’ hopes of lifting the Premier League title this season, while also boosting their own chances of finishing in the top four.

If Arsenal win, they put the emphasis on Manchester City and Liverpool to catch them in the race for the title, with both also still having to face Spurs in the coming weeks.

We believe that Guglielmo Vicario will start between the sticks for Tottenham, with Cristian Romero and Micky Van de Ven remaining as the first-choice back two for Postecoglou.

Ben Davies comes in at left-back to replace the injured Destiny Udogie, while Pedro Porro recovers just in time to retain his starting spot on the right side of defence.

In midfield, Yves Bissouma serves as the starting pivot despite his poor form of late, and Pape Matar Sarr provides an engine on the right side of the pitch. James Maddison starts on the left as Tottenham’s chief creator, but will need to up his levels from recent weeks.

Up front, Heung-min Son starts as Tottenham’s number nine, with Brennan Johnson on the left and Dejan Kulusevski on the right. Timo Werner drops to the bench and the game comes a little too soon for Richarlison.
