Report: Saudi side Al-Ittihad are planning to bid for Spurs star in the summer

Football Transfers report that Saudi Pro League side, Al-Ittihad, are planning to bid for Tottenham captain, Heung-min Son, in the summer transfer window.

The report claims that sources close to Al-Ittihad believe both Heung-min Son and Liverpool’s Mo Salah will be targeted come the summer, as the Saudi club believe both Karim Benzema and Romarinho may depart.

Al-Ittihad want to sign Son and Mo Salah

The plan is said to be to partner Abderrazak Hamdallah, who has 13 goals in 16 games for Al-Ittihad this season, with the experienced Premier League duo to create the best front line in Saudi Arabia.

Football Transfers even suggest that Son may indeed reassess his Tottenham future at the end of the season if the club do not finish in the Champions League places.

Spurs Web Opinion:

I would not be surprised at all if a Saudi club put a huge bid on the table for Heung-min Son, but the idea he would even glance at it for a second is silly. Why would Son react to missing out on Champions League football by moving to Saudi Arabia? He is the club captain and will likely sign a new Tottenham contract this summer.
