Report: Spurs are working on ‘lucrative new sponsorship’ deal for 2024/25 kit

Tottenham Hotspur are working on finding a new ‘lucrative training wear sponsor’ for the 2024/25 season onwards, with the club’s deal with Getir ending this summer (FootballLondon).

Reports this week have suggested that Getir are about to withdraw from the UK, Germany and the Netherlands, the only three European markets in which the company operates. Such a decision would put approximately 1,500 British jobs at risk.

This coincides with the end of Getir’s association with Tottenham Hotspur, after signing a multi-million-pound deal with the North London club in 2021.

Tottenham are looking for a new training wear sponsor

The grocery delivery app signed a three-year contract with Spurs, becoming the first training shirt sponsor in the club’s history, but Daniel Levy and co are now on the lookout for a successor.

Football London report that Spurs are already actively working on bringing in a ‘new lucrative sponsor’ for the training wear from next season and would prefer a deal that spans multiple years.

Spurs Web Opinion:

It sounds like the perfect time for Spurs to part ways with Getir if they are no longer going to be active in the UK. Hopefully, the club can find a new multi-million-pound deal to bring even more funds in for the summer and the coming years.
