‘100 million per cent’ – Journalist makes claim about Harry Kane transfer interest

Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth believes there is no doubt that Mauricio Pochettino would want to reunite with Harry Kane at Chelsea if the Argentine takes over at Stamford Bridge.

Over the last few months, various publications have named Manchester United as the most realistic destination for Kane this summer if the striker does leave Spurs, with the Red Devils thought to be prioritising a move for the England captain (Daily Star).

However, with Mauricio Pochettino now reportedly edging closer to becoming the next Chelsea head coach (CaughtOffside), there have been some suggestions over the last couple of weeks that the 51-year-old would try to lure Kane to West London (GiveMeSport).

Sheth has no doubt that Pochettino would try to poach Tottenham’s talisman this summer if he takes over at the Blues but the journalist insisted that the North London club do not want to let their star player leave the club.

When asked if the former Spurs manager wants a reunion with Kane, the journalist told (GiveMeSport): “Would he want him? 100,000,000%, Mauricio Pochettino would want Harry Kane.

“But we’ve got to look at this from the Tottenham and Harry Kane side. Tottenham do not want to sell Harry Kane.”

Even though Kane has a very good relationship with Pochettino, the striker would never consider joining Chelsea as he knows it would destroy his Spurs legacy.

Man Utd remain the only realistic destination for the 29-year-old this summer and even that might not be hugely appealing for the striker as a move to Old Trafford would certainly not guarantee titles.
