It was announced the Club today Vincent Janssen has undergone surgery on what is said to be a minor foot injury.
Janssen also took to Instagram to address the fans surrounding his current situation.
The striker spent last season on loan at Turkish side Fenerbache but has since returned to Spurs despite it seeming the 24-year-old does not have a future at the Lilywhites.
“The surgery yesterday was successful!
The next period will be in the light of becoming fit and stronger than ever.
I will put all the effort in I’ve got!
I can’t wait to be back at the pitch again.”
Janssen has been linked with a move away from Spurs this summer but the clock is ticking with the transfer deadline for most countries on 31 August.
The 24-year-old struggled in his first season at Tottenham, having only scored two Premier League goals in his 27 appearances.
Could this be a hint that the Dutch striker may be staying at the north London club?
