Micky Hazard believes it was a case of two points dropped after watching Tottenham Hotspur draw 1-1 at Crystal Palace.
The former Spurs midfielder praised the heroics of Vicente Guaita after the Spaniard produced a remarkable performance to keep Jose Mourinho’s side at bay.
Harry Kane put Spurs on course for a sixth win in seven league games with a shot from distance which Guaita should have saved in the first half, but certainly made up for his error.
Palace came close to equalising through Eze before the break but drew level when Schlupp tapped home from close range after Lloris failed to hold onto Eze’s free-kick.
Hazard claimed that Tottenham’s first half display was good but felt the performance dipped in the second half prior to Palace’s equaliser and could have gone on to score three more later in the match.
Harry Kane and Eric Dier will both be wondering how they did not score a match-winning goal but Guaita rightly took the plaudits.
2 points dropped but their keeper has had an unbelievable day to be honest, some of his saves were incredible. First half very good second dropped off too much until they scored then we could have scored 3 but for goalie We go again COYSSSS
