£22m Spurs star sets the record straight about his future at the club

Heung-min Son has once again stated that he is happy to remain at Tottenham Hotspur following recent speculation about a possible exit.

The South Korea star has been rumoured to be interesting German giants Bayern Munich, however, Son has no plans to leave the club.

Son signed a new five-year contract in May and intends to focus on the job in hand at Tottenham.

Since joining Tottenham, Son has overtaken Park Ji-Sung as the highest-scoring Asian player in Premier League history, and has also won the South Korean Footballer of the Year Award three times, and Asian Player of the Year twice.

He recently helped South Korea to a gold medal finish at the Asian Games which secured an exemption from military service.

Son was quoted by FourFourTwo after the 2-1 win against Brighton: “I recently renewed my contract with Tottenham, and I believe I need to focus on here to do more for the team. I’m happy at Tottenham.”
