Moussa Sissoko is wanted by Serie A giants Inter Milan, according to reports from Italy this morning.
The Inter-focused site, PassioneInter claim that the French international could be on his way out of Tottenham Hotspur if we are able to line up a replacement beforehand, rumoured to be Valencia’s Geoffrey Kondogbia.
Kondogbia only moved to Valencia on a permanent deal earlier this summer after an impressive season-long loan, which he joined from Inter and they will receive 25% of any future sale of the player, who is said to now have a £70million price tag.
Jack Grealish is another midfielder who has been heavily linked with a Spurs switch, but no move has materialised.
Sissoko has failed to win over the Spurs support since his £30million switch from Newcastle United in 2016, and missed yesterday’s 4-1 thumping in Girona following a hamstring strain he picked up in the pre-season win against AC Milan in Minnesota.
Rather than spend £70million on a panic buy, I’d rather see us keep hold of Mousa Dembele.
