Pochettino confident on Kane fitness

According to Metro Sport Mauricio Pochettino has perhaps hinted that Harry Kane has overcome illness which has dogged the last few days and will be available to take on Swansea City in Tuesday’s Premier League clash.

The Argentine tactician revealed on Friday that Kane was at home suffering from a heavy cold, putting his participation in doubt for our upcoming games against Swansea on Tuesday and against West Hamtwo days later.

However the article says that in a more recent interview, Pochettino did not include Kane in his list of players who are currently unavailable.

Pochettino also spoke about Victor Wanyama’s return to fitness for the clash with Swansea on Spurs’ official website, and gave a hint about the state of the rest of his squad.

The Tottenham boss said: ‘Now, of course, there’s a lot of competition in the squad because now it’s only Toby [Alderweireld] who is still out.
To be available in a very busy schedule, always it is important to have everyone available again to play.’

The article concludes that Pochettino’s update suggests Kane is no longer a doubt and will be able to try and continue his scoring exploits against Swansea.
