Emmanuel Adebayor and Fernando Llorente were both pictured in the mixed zone of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after the clash against Marseille on Wednesday.

Adebayor spent four seasons at Tottenham after arriving on an initial loan spell from Manchester City in 2011 before signing for the club permanently 12 months later.

The Togo international saw Kane come through the ranks, with the Spurs academy graduate eventually taking his place in the starting eleven during the 2014/15 season after Adebayor fell out with Mauricio Pochettino (The Mirror).

The 38-year-old was pictured talking to Kane in the mixed zone while Llorente, who was instrumental to Tottenham’s progression to the final of the Champions League in 2019, was also present.

They were not the only two former Spurs strikers present at the stadium, with Peter Crouch, who scored the goal that helped the Lilywhites qualify for the Champions League for the first time in their history back in 2010, also pictured at the venue.

The lanky former England star was doing punditry work for BT Sport on Wednesday.

Spurs Web Opinion

Even though things ended in a sour fashion for Adebayor at Spurs, at his best, the Togo international was a handful for any defence. Llorente too was underappreciated during his time at Tottenham and is arguably the best backup to Kane we have had until the Richalison signing this summer.
