Sky Sports are reporting that Atletico Madrid have rejected a £38.5million from Tottenham Hotspur for striker Sergio Aguero.
The offer was made earlier today for the Argentine international but has been rejected out of hand by the La Liga outfit.
Spurs are desperately trying to bring in a world class striker ahead of the transfer window closing on Monday night – earlier on Sunday, Robbie Keane joined West Ham on loan for the rest of the season.
